New Patterns, Collaboration and more
Happy 2025 from PAGEGRID! We wanted to give a quick update with what's been going on and what's coming in the new year.
Symbol Patterns
Symbols are now more organized and you can add a custom icon to them to make them easiert to identify. With the latest update it's also possible to create non-synchronized symbols (also known as patterns). Patterns can be individually edited without affecting other instances. They are a quick way to add pre-designed layout sections to your page.
Collaboration
We added multi user support to all cloud plans. Invite team members to collaborate on your site and precisely control what they can edit and whether they can use design features. To give a team members access to your site, start by creating a user for them. You can then assign one of our predefined user roles:
| Guest | Can view the frontend of your site. |
| Editor | Can edit the content of unlocked items on your site. |
| Designer | Can change the design and edit the content of your site. |
Other Improvements
- Fixed logout bug: Some users were affected by a bug that regularly logged them out of their cloud account. If you were affected, we apologize! The bug has now been fixed
- Slider block: The left and right arrows can now be styled using the panel
- Custom code block: Code syntax highlighting added
- Developer Feature: New renderOptions for custom blocks added
- Developer Feature: Connect a template to a PAGEGRID layout
