Blueprints

Blueprints can be used to automatically populate empty pages with a predefined layout. They are useful if you want website editors to start from a base design when they create new pages.

• To define a Blueprint, go to "Setup > PAGEGRID > Blueprints > Add New" while editing a page in the editor.

• Name your Blueprint and click "Save".

• On the following screen click "Blueprint Settings" and select a parent page to add the content of this blueprint to new child pages automatically. Click "Save" to confirm.

• Now every new page a user creates under this parent page will be a copy of this blueprint.

Drafts

Blueprints can also be used to quickly create drafts of pages.

• While editing a page in the editor, go to “Setup > PAGEGRID > Blueprints > Add new” to create a copy of the page design.

• Make changes to your draft.

• When your draft is ready to publish, go to “Pages” and edit the page you want to replace.

• Go to “Settings > Load blueprint” and select the design that is to replace your page design.
