October Release Highlights

In this episode, I’m sharing the latest PAGEGRID improvements like smoother resizing, easier editing of nested blocks, and a new UI that is coming soon.

Recent updates

Easier content editing for nested blocks
Blocks that accept children (e.g. group, slider, or accordion) now come with an improved editing interface. You can edit the content of child items without losing your place. Just click the edit icon, make your changes, and jump right back to the parent. This makes working through items one by one much easier.

Improved performance when resizing items
Resizing of items inside a grid could be slow when the style panel is open, especially with images or videos. This has now been fixed, making the resizing feel much smoother.

Full support for the new ProcessWire admin theme
The new look for ProcessWire CMS integrates nicely with PAGEGRID. Although it’s still in beta, the updated design already makes the interface feel smoother and more modern. For users trying the new theme, the transition will be easy — it’s primarily a visual refresh without changing how the CMS works. Cloud users will continue on the current UI for now, but we plan to roll out the new theme to everyone soon.
