We’ve been working on a new look for PAGEGRID that integrates even more deeply into ProcessWire. We teased this a while back, and after some fine-tuning, it’s finally ready. It’s mostly about making the environment feel more cohesive and comfortable to work in.

The new UI brings a modern, unified feel to PAGEGRID while staying instantly familiar. We haven’t changed the core mechanics but simply refined the experience to make it feel faster and more intuitive. By tapping into the latest native ProcessWire theme, PAGEGRID feels perfectly "at home" today while ensuring the platform is ready for the future.

We’ve already rolled out the new interface for all Cloud users, so you can jump in and explore it right now. For our self-hosted users, the update released alongside the latest master version of ProcessWire; just be sure to update both ProcessWire and PAGEGRID to their latest versions to get started.

What’s New?

• Deeply Native: It feels less like a plugin and more like a seamless extension of the ProcessWire CMS ecosystem.

• Light & Dark Modes: Toggle between Light, Dark, or "Auto" (which follows your system settings). It’s much easier on the eyes for late-night sessions.

• Pinned Navigation: The masthead and search stay fixed at the top, so you never have to scroll back up to switch sections.

• Contextual Clarity: We’ve moved to clear text labels for the main navigation instead of icons, making the interface more intuitive at a glance.

• Refined Aesthetics: Higher quality typography and a more intentional color palette make the entire workspace cleaner and easier to read.
